The Four Seasons String Quartet is a highly accomplished, top quality String Quartet. We are all graduates of some of Europe’s finest Music Conservatoires and since our formation in 2004, our beautiful playing has enhanced hundreds of weddings, parties and corporate events all over Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
We are extremely versatile, equally happy performing the very latest pop songs, rock classics, film themes and show tunes and of course the many well loved pieces from the classical music repertoire.
In 2006, her Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra recorded Piazzolla’s “Four Seasons”. Gilmore Phillips’ passion for chamber music has been the impetus for a quartet journey, comprised of professionals from the VSO, notably, Ambrosia Quartet, which. Established in 1998, The Four Seasons Ensemble is a professional flute and string trio/quartet that has performed at over 1000 weddings. The event coordinators of the legendary Russian Tea Room, Tavern on the Green and Aquavit Restaurant regularly booked The Four Seasons. Four Seasons String Quartet has an extensive range of repertoire, and is flexible enough to also perform as a trio or duo. Our ever increasing repertoire covers all styles including Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods as well as jazz and popular music from current bands.
We have played in the elegant surroundings of the regions most famous castles, stately homes and hotels and have also appeared on cliff tops and beaches. No event is too large or small for us.
